Training

The rapid expansion of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai in particular, in terms of TV broadcasting over recent years, has led to a multitude of available TV channels. Competition for journalistic careers within these organizations is fierce and only the best make it to the top.

Our aim is to not only assist our trainees with securing these much sought-after positions, but also to raise the standard of TV journalism and production within these organizations from within.

Our rigorous training programs enable our graduates to perform, from day one. Because of this ethos, we’re the only B2B (business-to-business) media array in the MENA region that is able to assist its trainees to get the job they want in TV stations and production houses around the region.

Our training courses cover the following segments:

•  University graduates

TV journalism and production courses. Learn how to apply the intellectual rigour and theoretical elements you have learned in your university courses to practical situations which will prepare you for the busy day-to-day life of a TV news room or production facility

•  Existing TV professionals

Enhancing and updating skill sets. As technology and trends evolve, we offer you the opportunity to polish your skills and experience and keep them relevant to today’s demanding TV audience.

•  Political and business leaders

Media training; it is essential that both political and business leaders are skilled communicators and are comfortable under public scrutiny. We provide training to enable prominent figures to gain or enhance the necessary skills required for dealing with all media, especially the immediacy of TV.

At the cornerstone of our philosophy is our ambition to encourage the next generation of TV “Reporters” and journalists to display the highest levels of professional competence, combined with the qualities of objectivity, integrity, honesty and intellectual curiosity.

Our courses, therefore, strike a balance between practical skills, such as equipment and state-of-the-art computer programme familiarisation, writing scripts and developing work patterns which will enhance a news room, and those qualities which are less tangible, such as building the personality of the consummate professional reporter and auditing personal ethical behaviour.
